A New Festival at a Familiar Venue
The festival took place at the Pryor Creek Music Festival Grounds, a location already well known to music fans across the Midwest. The site regularly hosts large music festivals and events and offers extensive camping areas for fans traveling to multi-day events.
By launching the Born & Raised festival at the same venue as Rocklahoma, organizers created another major destination for live music fans visiting northeastern Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Red Dirt and Outlaw Country
Born & Raised was created to highlight the Red Dirt and outlaw country scenes that have gained a loyal following across Oklahoma, Texas, and the surrounding states. Many of the artists on the lineup have built their reputations through independent touring and strong fan support rather than traditional Nashville promotion.
The festival aimed to bring together fans who appreciate authentic country music, storytelling, and high-energy live performances.
